WHAT IS ENGINEERED CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITE (ECC)?

Also called bendable concrete, ECC is an exclusive mixture of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) with a unique blend of different ingredients and low volume fibers that produce high ductility and high tensile strength material. Conventional concrete and typical fiber-reinforced concrete are brittle in nature and hence crack easily under environmental and mechanical loads, affecting the durability of structures.
