Facilities and Licensing
The material exists. The demand exists. What is missing is the facilities that connect them.
Why Facilities?
Producers need a supply they can count on.
Concrete and asphalt producers want a material they understand and can order like any other ingredient. That takes processing facilities that turn residual plastic into consistent, specification-controlled ReLite+.
The first facility: The Mitchell location.
The first ReLite+ processing facility is planned for the Mitchell area in Southwestern Ontario. It will produce ReLite+ for concrete and asphalt producers and show what a repeatable model looks like.
The model: A licensable model, built to be repeated.
NX-Cast holds the technology. Through the ECOS Alliance, we intend to license the ReLite+ model to independently operated regional facilities, starting with recyclers and waste handlers who already hold the plastic.
A smaller ReLite+ processing unit can sit beside an existing sorting or transfer operation, giving bales that no one will buy a destination.
Prepared material can then be blended with our mineral component into specification-controlled grades for concrete and asphalt.
Central blending keeps the finished product consistent from one facility to the next.
Facilities built for the people who already hold the plastic.
Recyclers and waste handlers: More value from material you already hold.
Municipalities and regions: A local, durable destination for residual plastic.
Concrete and asphalt producers: A nearby supply of a material that makes your product better.
