ELCEMITE is a high-density, light-weight, cementitious composite made of carefully chosen ingredients (selected for grain size, particle weight and chemical reactivity), and blended with reinforcement fibers to produce a fluid, homogenous mix. After mixing, the pre-blended formulation sets to a solid liken to concrete but half the weight and with many improved attributes.

Created without industry influence, this much-needed composite has enormous environmental value:

• Upcycles post-consumer waste and industry by-products (over 60% by volume), thereby reducing landfill waste and increasing LEED qualifications points,

• Cuts climate impact caused by cement production by decreasing the use of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) by over 60%,

• Conserves the use of clean water by over 50% by reducing water required to hydrate the OPC bond in conventional concrete,

• Use of supplementary cementing materials (SCMs) makes ELCEMITE stronger while reducing carbon emissions created in the production of OPC,

• Contributes to sustainable construction by reducing resources needed to handle and transport heavy construction materials,

• Provides new product alternatives for industries and markets currently dominated by materials made with fossil fuels like asphalt roofing and vinyl siding.
